Hey HN, I built Fileloom because I kept running into the same problems with PDF generation: font rendering breaks on Linux servers, Puppeteer setup is painful, and most services charge $15-30/month for only a few hundred PDFs. Fileloom is a simple PDF generation API. Send HTML (or use saved templates with Handlebars syntax), get a PDF back in under 2 seconds. What's included: Single endpoint: POST to /v1/pdf/generate 70+ built-in Handlebars helpers (currency formatting, dates, loops, conditionals, math) Automatic font handling - no more debugging why fonts work locally but not in production Store PDFs on our infrastructure or yours (S3, Supabase) Webhooks for pdf.generated and pdf.failed events Free tier is 200 PDFs/month, no credit card required. Paid plans start at $7.20/month. I'd appreciate feedback on the API design and developer experience.
