Over the last 2 weeks I've coded a few different visuals as a mental warm up in the morning. It's also nice to make something visual! I try to not go in with an agenda and keep it exploratory! I find that it has a nice effort to satisfaction ratio that really helps if other work I'm doing is a slow burn.
