PostcardLove – Send Real Postcards from Your Phone

Hacker News

Hi HN, I built PostcardLove as a fun side project to send my sister a photo of her as a toddler for her birthday—something more tactile than just a text or email. That spiraled into a simple tool where anyone can upload a photo, write a message, and have a real postcard mailed out. No account, no app, no friction. How it works: • Upload a photo • Write your message (optional AI help to refine it) • Enter the address (or use a pre-filled SMS link to request it) • We print and mail it for $3.99 What’s different: • No signup required—most tools force it • You can send a postcard in under 30 seconds • Entirely browser-based, works great on mobile too I’ve been using it to mail postcards of my kids to myself, and it’s been surprisingly fun to receive them in the mail. I’d love feedback on: • Any obvious bugs or UX friction • What would make this more useful or delightful? Thanks for checking it out!
