Hey HN I’ve been building ProfiTree, a tool to help investors—especially those managing their own portfolios—spot tax savings that are easy to miss. If you're an active trader, it flags disallowed losses from wash sales that can quietly wipe out your tax benefits. If you're a long-term/passive investor, it surfaces opportunities to harvest losses you might not realize are there. I started this after realizing I had personally missed out on tax savings just because I didn’t have visibility. ProfiTree connects securely to your brokerage (via SnapTrade – read-only access), analyzes your past trades, and highlights where you could have saved—and how to avoid missing out in the future.
