PeerAds – A startup-first ad network for affordable advertising

Hi HN, I recently put together the landing page for PeerAds, a project aiming to help early-stage startups both advertise and earn in a way that feels fairer and more focused than traditional ad networks. The core idea: Startups can promote their products across a curated network of other startup websites, rather than spending heavily on Facebook/Google ads where attention is fragmented and costs are high. Startup websites (especially SaaS, tools, indie projects) can monetize by displaying clean, relevant ads that fit better with their audience and brand than generic ad networks. Why I'm building this: While working with small projects and founders, I kept seeing two problems: Early-stage startups often can't afford the CPCs on big ad platforms. Startup websites and blogs often have great audiences but few good monetization options outside of affiliate links. I believe there's an opportunity for a lightweight, curated ad network focused purely on startups helping startups. The early landing page is live here: https://peerads.vercel.app I'm still validating the idea and would love to hear: Does this concept make sense? Would you consider using it (as advertiser or publisher)? Any major pitfalls you see that I should be thinking about? Would love your thoughts — critical or otherwise! Thanks for reading.
