Connect macOS to WiFi by scanning QR code
I frequently travel and work remotely. Every new place—cafes, hotels, coworking spaces—requires manually connecting both my Android phone and Mac to WiFi. Unfortunately, macOS doesn't sync WiFi credentials with Android phones nor does it connect to WiFi through QR codes. So I built WiFi QR Go, a macOS app that connects to WiFi networks by scanning standard WiFi QR codes. Now I can connect my Pixel to WiFi, then use WiFi QR Go on my Mac to scan the QR code displayed on my phone, instantly connecting my Mac without retyping passwords. It complements this workflow but isn't required: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43379129 I'd appreciate your feedback or suggestions!
