I watch a lot of long-form youtube content—lectures, tutorials, industry talks—but I always found it frustrating to scrub through videos looking for key moments. so I built supplychat, a chrome extension that integrates directly with youtube to: - summarize videos in real time - search transcripts for key moments - analyze comment sections for insights - answer questions based on the video content It uses google’s gemini and the youtube data api, but instead of a subscription model, users bring their own api keys to avoid recurring fees.
