Hey everyone! Longtime reader here, but this is my first time posting — because, honestly, I’m confused. I always believed that if you build something great, the right customers will find you. But now that I’m actually trying to sell something for the first time, I’m realizing that might not be true. I poured a lot into this project—it’s personal, and I genuinely believe it’s better than some of the top apps in this space (yes, competitors are making serious money). And yet… no one is even downloading it. So, is the indie dev era over? Do you need a massive marketing budget just to get a foot in the door? Or did I just spend all this time building something nobody actually wants? Would genuinely love to hear your thoughts!
