Minecraft-like multiplayer block game in WebGL

As a kid, I started programming because I wanted to make Minecraft mods. I remember trying to make my own block game in C# XNA when I was in primary school, and failing miserably. Now, more than 10 years later, I've finally created my own multiplayer block game, and it runs in the browser :D I think many people still associate web games with the era of Flash games. However, with technologies such as WebGL and web sockets, you can actually develop something more advanced. The upcoming WebGPU will also be another game changer. I hope this post would inspire more folks to develop games on the web, as I believe it's a very underrated gaming platform right now. Games on the web do not need to be downloaded, they can run on any device (try the game on mobile!), and it's super easy to build UI with HTML and CSS.
