What Does Coding Mean

About me: I am a Muslim aerospace engineer (Javed Arshad Butt) who is currently working towards his doctorate. I really like coding and would love to teach it to other people. I think there are people out there who are afraid of coding, but there is no need to fear coding at all. Also, the skill of coding is very important nowadays. I have quite a bit of experience in coding and would like to teach it. My goal is to absolutely take away the fear of coding, be a bit funny, speak about other important things too, and help you learn coding in Python with ease and fun. I speak multiple languages, so I recorded this video, Alhamdulillah, in multiple languages. They are not perfect—I am just a human with errors and trying to teach something as a side project. But hey, give it a try. I, inshallah, do not provide you here with the YouTube videos because I do not want you to be annoyed by the ads. Here are the videos: en: https://odysee.com/@javed:e/what_does_coding_mean:f de: https://odysee.com/@javed:e/freudiges-programmieren-eine-lus... indo-pak: https://odysee.com/@javed:e/joyful-coding-a-fun-and-easy-2:2 [AI helped out for the following] Some Funny Parts: Alexandra Nickname: Yusuf teasingly calls Alex "Alexandra" to highlight a gender swap, resulting in a playful, comedic exchange. Starbucks Blood Joke: Alex’s suggestion to go to Starbucks leads to Yusuf’s mock accusation that she wants to “drink the blood of children,” sparking a humorous debate about corporate ethics. Some Highlights: What is Coding? Alex learns that coding is essentially writing text that a computer can understand and execute. The Language of Computers: Yusuf explains how communicating with a computer involves learning its language, akin to how humans use verbal and non-verbal cues. Tools and Editors: Yusuf introduces the concept of code editors and how writing and running code works in practice. Why You Might Want to Watch It: Learn Through Laughter: The witty interactions between Alex and Yusuf make learning about coding enjoyable and less intimidating. Real-life Coding Insights: They cover fundamental concepts, from what coding is to the tools used, all wrapped in relatable conversations. Engaging Storytelling: The narrative style keeps you hooked, making complex topics easier to digest.
