KamiAI – The easiest way to get data from your documents

Hi HN, When we started our other company, we found extracting data from documents to be our biggest challenge. We needed to read images, scans, Word documents, XFA PDFs, and many more types of documents. We spent several months figuring out the best way to extract text from all these sources. Existing tools were clunky, overpriced, and not comprehensive enough for our use. That's why we built Kami. We aim to make data extraction from documents painless. Our document processing pipeline is tailored to read documents and extract data from it. We support scanned PDFs, digital PDFs, XFA PDFs, Doc and Docx files, MSG files, images (PNG/JPG), and more. We automatically OCR documents where needed, and use our LLMs to get data out of it. Our clear and predictable pricing ensures no surprises, eliminating the need for complex OCR pipelines, custom models, or expensive LLMs. Our beta users have used Kami for literature reviews, data extraction from receipts and invoices, and building document chatbots. We're committed to data privacy and security, never using your documents to train models or selling your data to third parties. You can test Kami at https://kamiai.co . Every user starts with free credits so you can get going without any payments. We’re still in early beta and ironing out a few bugs and issues. Email us at founders@eazydraft.com with any issues, and we'll address them ASAP. We look forward to your feedback!
