Akari, a fun little grid logic puzzle with daily challenges
Akari is a little puzzle app I created in my spare time. The underlying game principle is called "Light Up" and was created by the Japanese puzzle publisher Nikoli. The rules are pretty straightforward: You have to fill a grid with bulbs. Each bulb brightens its row and column until obstructed by a black cell or the grid's edge. The black cells may have numbers indicating how many bulbs must surround them, adding to the strategic depth. As you will quickly notice, the placement of the bulbs becomes quite tricky and you have to use logical exclusion methods to get your grid filled.
