Hey Hacker News community, I'm excited to share a project I've been working on, VSDECO, a web tool that transforms photos of rooms into various interior design styles, including Modern, Scandinavian, Minimalist, and more. It also allow to home stage virtually. Born from personal experience and a passion for photography and technology, it is designed to help users visualize potential changes to their spaces effortlessly. How did I come up with the idea? While house hunting, I struggled to visualize the potential of empty or outdated rooms. Discussing with friends and family, I realized this visualization challenge was common. Combining my interests in photography and tech, I aimed to create a solution that makes interior transformation accessible to everyone, regardless of their design experience. Potential users are realtors to showcase how properties can be furnished or renovated to sell faster. Also, homeowners can gain decoration ideas and visualize them before making any purchases. Besides, designers and interior architects can provide a preliminary visualization tool for space distribution and decoration. How It Works? Just upload a photo of your room, choose a style and receive a photo transformation showcasing what your space could look like. Thoughts on the concept? Suggestions for improvement?
