Hey HN, I'm developing a simple clipboard manager, and I am confused about choosing the position of its pop-up window. I think as a text input assistant, it should be positioned closest to the input location, so I used a lot of tricks to achieve this on Mac. You know, Mac has strict permission management. But when I spent a long time doing this, my clipboard history always showed up near the input cursor most of the time. I think it's pretty cool. But what confuses me is that users don't seem to appreciate it. I've heard some compliments, but not many. Here, I would like to hear everyone's opinions on whether displaying it at the text input location is the right choice? Here is a demonstration video of this feature: https://cleanclip.cc/videos/followcursornoshadow265.mp4 (PS: I know there are many other factors that may cause users not to buy it, but today I just want to understand the issue of the popup position.) Thanks, I hope to learn something here.
