Hi HN, I’m Sheldon, the founder of https://www.askyourdatabase.com . We have made an AI native database client which lets you chat with your SQL/NoSQL databases with strong inferences just like in ChatGPT. The major difference to other tools like text2sql is the strong "inferences" or "understanding" of your data, you are not simply “generating SQL and execute it manually”, you are actually letting GPT-4 to look through your schema, generate and execute SQLs, correct itself if has syntax errors, and explain the data for you. (Also can run python code in sandbox to do post-analyze, and output you an csv file for you to download). This strong inferences has been made possible by OpenAI newly released Assistant API and GPT-4 turbo, so our product’s behavior is more like a "ChatGPT database agent". Interesting story about why I made this: Four months ago, I published a ChatGPT plugin with the same brand name, a lot of people are complaining about data security issues, so that I made a desktop version letting you connect your db and keep your credentials both locally.
