Binx, an AI Agent which helps you write more

Hi HN! I'm sharing my personal experiment in using AI to help humans be more creative, which I'm calling "Binx". I love writing, but often have trouble getting started or picking back up where I left off. I wanted an accountability buddy that would bug me for pages, be excited to read my latest work, and which could share interesting tips or writing prompts when I haven't written for a while Binx is a discord chatbot which combines all of those things, running against a local LLM (StableBeluga2 70B) with a prompt-injection routine that gives it "thoughts" to consider when giving writing advice or exercises and reflecting on my work. The script prompts Binx from a corpus of tips and then re-frames them in the context of your previous writing and what you want to work on. I'm not really looking to turn this into a business, but I'm very interested in the human psychology side of this, and whether an AI accountability buddy can help people feel more creative, work through their resistance, and write more.
