I gave a talk on “Should engineers design?” [video]

“Designers design, and engineers build. This is the current state of things in the world. But is this the ideal state? Can engineers do more than just build?” Hey HN! I recently gave a talk (my first talk ever) at my university's hacker club, NUS Hackers, discussing the topic of “Should engineers design?” As software engineer who dabbles in design a lot, this was a question that I've pondered on frequently, and so this is a topic I'm very passionate about.
