Sendaway – a tool to get newsletters out of email and give them home

Hey everyone! Over the past year, I've subscribed to 20+ email newsletters. Every time they arrived in my email inbox, I got so annoyed — mainly because they got mixed up with all the important emails I got. For me, it felt like newsletters never belonged in my email; it felt like there needs to be a way of just scrolling through them in a feed to read them all; it felt like a hack to have them be marked as "Unread" until I have the time to read them. So I built a little email-companion tool called Sendaway. Sendaway is a "newsletter management" SaaS designed to be the home for your newsletters. Sendaway is organized with Inboxes, each giving you a unique email address that you can use to sign up for newsletters. You can use as many inboxes as you like to organize newsletters by category or context. Sendaway also works with email forwarding — in the app, we've written a guide on how to set up automatic email forwarding for tools like Outlook and Gmail, so you can forward all existing newsletters you signed up for to Sendaway. Sendaway displays all your newsletters in a timeline feed so that you can scroll and read them. Hide what you read and never be bothered again. Filter by newsletter, filter by inbox, Sendaway takes care of all that. You may be asking yourself: why; if I can organize them in folders in my email? That is a fair point; you can do that. But to me, just like I mentioned, it felt like a temporary hack, like there needs to be a better solution. What if I find a link or a quote in the newsletter that I want to save? Sure, you can copy it and store it in your Notes app. With Sendaway, you can highlight the contents of any newsletter, add a note to it and save it for later. It will forever be right there in your "Bookmarks" tab. I would love some feedback on the app, and we have many more things planned down the road: iOS and Android apps, search, an "Explore" page with a one-click subscribe button to find newsletters, a weekly digest of all the latest newsletters, etc. Thanks for checking it out, and keep your inbox clutter-free! Josip
