Forte, an open-source self-hosted music platform, is now federated
Hey everyone, I've been working on this project for a few months and I am happy to announce that forte is now federated. With the latest release all forte servers can communicate with each other to build a collaborative music library of albums, artists, tracks and playlists. Server contents are shared between forte servers via public-key cryptography, which makes them hidden to the outside world. My implementation of the federation is a bit straightforward for now but feel free to leave a comment. I really appreciate your support!
