More Episodes (TV Show screenplays written by GPT-4)

I recently chatted with a friend and we both concluded: wouldn't it be awesome to have more episodes of Arrested Development or Person of Interest? Just one more? With that spark of an idea I tried to prompt GPT-4 to see how it does at screenwriting. The results were so good that I had to ran with it. "More Episodes" is a website that let's you browse through popular TV shows and screenplays of episodes that "don't exist". https://moreepisodes.com Any feedback very appreciated. I'm especially interested in what you think about the quality of the screenplays. Do they capture the vibe of the shows well? Which ones do, which don't? Any ideas what to add next? I also think there is potential for fan fiction: Episode Title: "Crypto-nomical Conundrum" Episode Description: In this never-before-seen episode of Futurama, the Planet Express crew find themselves embroiled in a cryptocurrency heist involving an eccentric billionaire, a rogue artificial intelligence, and an ancient programming language. As they navigate the world of virtual currencies and digital warfare, the crew must band together to prevent the collapse of the entire galactic economy. Screenplay: [INT. PLANET EXPRESS LOUNGE - DAY] (FRY, LEELA, BENDER, and AMY are sitting on the couch, all looking at their phones or tablets, while PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH stands at the front of the room.) FRY (angrily) Ugh, I just spent hours on Hacker News reading about crypto and AI stuff. What a waste of time! LEELA (looking up from her phone) I know, right? Some of these discussions go on forever without really saying anything. BENDER (laughing) You meatbags and your never-ending quest for knowledge. You'll never catch up to my superior robot intellect! AMY (rolling her eyes) Whatever, Bender. (PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH clears his throat loudly to get their attention.) PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH Good news, everyone! We've been hired by eccentric billionaire, Elon Tusk, to deliver a highly valuable crypto-key to a secret location. LEELA (intrigued) A crypto-key? What's that for? PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH Well, my dear, it's a digital key that can unlock a fortune in cryptocurrency. Elon Tusk believes that someone is planning to use it to manipulate the galactic economy. FRY And he trusts us with that? The Planet Express crew? PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH (smirking) He specifically asked for us because of our unique... incompetence. He believes we're the last people anyone would suspect of being involved in such a high-stakes operation. BENDER (smiling) Well, I've always said incompetence is our strongest suit! [INT. PLANET EXPRESS SHIP - DAY] (The crew is preparing for their mission. Fry and Bender are in the cockpit, while Leela is studying the crypto-key.) LEELA I've been doing some research, and it seems this crypto-key was programmed using an ancient language called Lisp. FRY (confused) Lisp? Why would anyone use that? LEELA (shrugging) Some people believe it's the most powerful programming language ever created. Others think it's just a relic from the past. AMY (interjecting) Oh, I've heard of Lisp! My parents made me learn it when I was a kid. They said it would help me understand the "fundamentals of computation." BENDER (mocking) Well, look where that got you. Hanging out with losers like us! AMY (frustrated) Hey, I can still program in Lisp, okay? LEELA That might come in handy, Amy. We need to keep this crypto-key safe from anyone who might want to steal it. (Just as Leela finishes her sentence, the ship's alarm goes off.) FRY (panicking) What's happening? LEELA (scanning the console) It looks like we're being hacked! Someone's trying to take control of the ship!
