HeroCore – Smaller, Sexier Arduino Mega Replacement

A friend of mine has spent the better part of two years working on making a smaller, sexier Arduino MEGA-compatible chip named HeroCore. He recently launched a kickstarter and needs help getting it funded. He’s managed to take the Arduino MEGA and made it smaller and easier to work with for the same price as a standard MEGA. My friend invested his time and energy into this project because he fundamentally believes that beauty inspires beauty. For too long, he’s felt that us makers and tinkerers have had to work with ugly tools. He believes that if we have beautiful tools, we will naturally create beautiful products. And ultimately, that means we will live in a more beautiful world.
