Hello! My name is Eric and I built this site with my friend who works in sales. Like many programmers, I build a lot of stuff in my spare time that never sees the light outside of my local dev machine. I thought to myself "wouldn't it be great to find someone else out there who might like the project I have in mind and would like to join me in building it?". Not a job, not a "gig" to fix someones email template, but an actual project where I can join and be a part of it. Sometimes, after forgetting about a project, I start thinking the other way around. I wish I hade something to work on that was exciting and that I believed in. So, I decided to build a prototype of the site, which turned out way too programmer oriented, and when my friend in sales saw it he said "Why not making it so that people like me and you can find each other as well as programmer finding programmer?".
