Ladder9 – A Shadowsocks cloud hosting platform

Hacker News

After I spent about half year on hosting Shadowsocks servers for my friends who are travel to China to work and to do businesses, I decide to make the whole process fully automatic. I have run the website ( https://ladder9.cloud ) for few weeks in public beta, during the time, all my friends' servers have been migrated, also, I received some checks from random visitors. :-) Now, it's still in public beta, but, I want to share it with you because, I think Shadowsocks is a good alternative to regular VPN because, it's really fast (closed to local connection), and anonymous your activities from ISP (it encrypts and obfuscate all traffics between your devices and your server). Disclaimer: I create a new account to post this Show HN due to I know this kind of service is sensitive to China.
