Wrote a book to help you learn the design part of web design

Hey everyone, My name is Rumen and I'm a coder turned web designer. Last year, while I was hanging out in http://reddit.com/r/web_design, I spotted a repeat problem: > My website designs don't look professional. I totally get that. You get stuck after you learn HTML&CSS. You keep looking at your designs and you know that they are sub-par but don't know what to do about it. I felt the same way years ago before I got my design knowledge. At the same time, there is this mountain of information about design that you need to learn. And you keep reading, but it still seems like you're missing something. Perhaps it's about talent? Of course not. Anyone can become a web designer. _Design can be learned_. And you can learn all that you need to know to make your website designs look "professional". Actually, there is just one thing that you need to keep in mind: That everything in your design has to be in harmony . Because beauty relies on harmony. So, I knew that if I had to write a book to help solve the "my website designs don't look professional" problem, I had to talk about harmony. But because this is my first attempt at writing a book, I thought that I should do the MVP of a book first. :) That's how "Harmonious Web Design" v1.0 was born. It covers harmonious typography because that's the first thing that I believe any web designer should master. After all, the most used medium on the web is _still_ text.
